New Graduation Day Gifts
Up and down the country new graduates have received their exam results and are proudly clutching their brand new degree certificates! What an achievement! Everyone wants to share the graduation day celebrations and invitations are flying out to friends and family to attend the graduation ceremony.
Earlier we blogged our great collection of Graduation Gifts For The Class Of 2013; here you will find an inspiring choice of gifts large and small to reward the new graduate. But we wanted to come up with a really striking set of items to commemorate the graduation ceremony in fitting style and so our clever little owl was conceived!
Wearing his mortar board, he sits on a white leather panel, and is boldly blocked in red foil, along with the words 'Graduation Day' and a border of red stars.We have added him to a set of lovely white linen bound items that will help the new graduate and the family build a souvenir of the student years and a big day.
There will of course be lots of photo opportunities: the graduation ceremony, the new graduate proudly sporting academic dress, the rest of the class of 2013, as well as lecturers, friends and the university buildings and town that have been home for the student years. So we have produced two photo albums, a small one with 30 plain cream card pages that will take 6x4" or 7x5" photos and a nice chunky one with 50 pages that will hold two 6x4" or or one 7x5" photo per page.
There is bound to be some serious partying on graduation day too and a signing book is a great way of remembering everyone who shared the day. Filled with well wishes and congratulations, it will be a lasting reminder of a great celebration and it is a good place to collect contact details too so as not to lose touch with any of the uni crowd.
The student years are a special time to be remembered long after the cap and gown have been hung up. We added a gorgeous keepsake box to the collection, roomy, covered in white linen and finished with a white satin bow. Fill it with favourite books, photos, certificates, gap-year souvenirs, dissertations and all the memories of working hard and playing hard!
