New ideas for teachers' gifts 2013

As the Summer Term rushes by, another school year is drawing to a close. Primary school children are saying farewell to familiar faces and thinking about 'big school' in September. The Year 11s are looking forward to the end of the exams and maybe a Leavers' Ball! And once the A Levels are over the sixth formers will bid farewell to school forever.

Schooldays are full of ups and downs and there are times when most kids just want to escape from school, homework and, above all, teachers! But come the end of term or the school year, most of them are actually quite sad to be moving on and look back on the year with some happy memories and even - yes! - gratitude!

'Teacher You're A Super Star' Gift Tag
Pretty well  every child has at least one teacher they really appreciate. It might be a form tutor who has seen them through thick and thin over the years. Or the teacher who was never too busy to help with coursework and the stresses of exams. For primary children, a kind class teacher can become almost a second mum! And let's not forget the classroom assistants who can be a real lifeline at times.
So as the school year draws to an end, pupils of all ages and their parents think about finding a little gift for teacher to say thank you for all they have done. It doesn't have to break the bank, and it may be just a heartfelt card, but it means the world to a busy teacher to know their efforts have been appreciated.
